FISHING & CAMPING
Splat Hill is located in the rolling foothills. We have three major ponds and one native rainbow trout stream. You can enjoy some of the best catch and release fishing around. "Sturgeville" Pond has varieties of Perch, large Bass, Catfish, and Sturgeon up to 25 lbs. "Bows End" Pond has Perch, large bass, Catfish up to 20lbs, Sturgeon over 4' long and Rainbow Trout up to and over 5 lbs. Leave the turtles alone! "Brownsville" Pond is a small fishery which has the feed water for the rest of the ponds. There are literally hundreds of Rainbow Trout from 1- 6 lbs, We will be planting German Browns again in the future.. There are a pair of sturgeon that exceed 52" long that can be caught on a fly. "Tennessee Creek" has mostly small but native Rainbow Trout up to 12 inches but a great catch on the fly.
Catch & Release : A majority of the fishing done at Splat Hill is small to
medium sized groups that come up and fish for a day. If you are interested in information on how you and your friends can hook onto Splat Hill please fill out "contact us" info. Private groups pay $50 per person, per day to catch and release. Reservation only, otherwise, you can come up on "Open Disc Golf Weekends" for $15 to $25 per person.
